Delegates from around the world, including 21 from the North Pacific Union Conference, are making their way to Atlanta, Ga., this week for the 59th General Conference session which will not only decide the next World Church president, but other important issues as well.
 
Here are several ways you can interact with the General Conference session from your own home via the Internet, your mailbox, email, social media, satellite and more:
 
50 DAYS OF PRAYER
Join groups and individuals from around the world in prayer for the purpose and vision of the Seventh day Adventist Church. Find more details at www.50daysofprayerforgc.info.
 
HOPE CHANNEL COVERAGE
As the official event broadcaster, Hope Channel will present an exciting daily one hour edition of World of Hope featuring inspiring stories and interviews with church leaders and members from around the world. You can keep current with the day’s events by watching Adventist NewsLine. And you won’t want to miss the live evening broadcasts with its awe-inspiring music and thrilling reports.
 
In addition, Hope Church Channel will carry exclusive programming from our Hope Channel World Stage in the exhibit hall. Available on DIRECTV, GloryStar, G-19 Satellite and online at www.hopetv.org.
 
ADVENTIST NEWS NETWORK
The Adventist News Network (ANN) will regularly publish daily news and features on its website news.adventist.org, as well as a daily podcast, Atlanta 2010 Today. ANN will also tweet Session news updates at twitter.com/adventistnews, twitter.com/gcsession, and twitter.com/adventistchurch.
