Hope Channel, Esperanza TV, Hope Church Channel now on new satellite
April 25, 2010

Hope Channel, Hope Church Channel, and Esperanza TV in North and Central America are now on satellite Galaxy 19 (G19). All three channels will remain on AMC-4 through the month of May to ease viewers’ transition, then the AMC-4 signal will be terminated.

“Praise the Lord! He has provided the funding and moved aside all legal obstacles that were blocking our desired move to G19,” says Brad Thorp, Hope Channel president.

“This news affects ONLY Hope Channel, Esperanza TV, and Hope Church Channel viewers in North and Central America watching exclusively on the AMC4 satellite. This news DOES NOT affect viewers watching on a Glorystar dual LNB system, online, or on DIRECTV channel 368,” adds Thorp.

People needing help repositioning their satellite dish or rescanning the channels on their receiver can call Hope Channel at 888-446-7388 and press option 2. Do-it-yourselfers can visit Hope Channel’s website and click on the news story about the satellite change to find several resources to guide their efforts.

The new parameters for Hope Channel, Esperanza TV, and Hope Church Channel are:

Satellite: Galaxy 19 (G-19)
Position: 97° West
Frequency: 11842 (or 11.842 on older equipment)
Polarity: Horizontal
Symbol rate: 22000
FEC: ¾ or “auto”

To find a professional installer to help you re-aim your satellite dish visit www.FTAinstall.com or http://Hope.Glorystar.tv/p/installer

Glorystar and Adventist Satellite dish owners can call 888-393-HOPE (4673) or visit http://hope.glorystar.tv/p/atvmove with for questions about their systems, though no re-aiming is likely to be necessary since the dual LNB system already receives signals from both AMC-4 and G-19.
