Adventist Community Services (ACS) - Washington recruits and trains individuals to impact their communities with programs that meet needs and improve lives. We believe in the transforming power of walking beside those who are hurting and suffering to show them a better way of life and to empower them to achieve it.
Be a part of the growing network of programs working to transform individuals, families and communites throughout the Washignton Conference. Contact us for training and event opportunities.
Disaster Response: A network of programs to prepare churches, schools and communities for pending disasters in Western Washington as well as to respond nationally.
Board Development: Your ministry program dreams can only grow as far as your support system. ACS walks Board Development participants through a two-year process to establish a healthy nonprofit board for new ministries that need to build a beginning board, or established programs that need to revitalize an existing board.
Nonprofit Leadership Institute: ACS-Washington offers a series of training seminars relating to nonprofit management. Topics covered include board member training, fundraising, new program development, grant writing and steps to incorporation.
