Washington Conference is intentional about growing healthy churches, schools, homes and leaders to take the Gospel to Western Washington and the world.
Revelation 14:6 gives focus to our task: "And I saw another angel flying through the heavens, carrying the everlasting Good News to preach to the people who belong to this world—to every nation, tribe, language, and people." Our desire is to present the gospel message as a team with humility, integrity and spirituality as we reflect that "It's All About Jesus."
Conference administrators are tasked with focusing all of the ministries of Washington Conference with the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Our Mission
The mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is to communicate to all peoples the everlasting gospel of God's love in the context of the three angels' messages of Revelation 14:6-12, and as revealed in the life, death, resurrection, and high priestly ministry of Jesus Christ, leading them to accept Jesus as personal Savior and Lord and to unite with His remnant church; and to nurture believers as disciples in preparation for His soon return.
Our Goals
1) Positive Adventist Image - positively increase awareness of the Seventh-day Adventist church in Washington Conference.
2) Church Growth & Revitalization - train members, pastors, & teachers to intentionally win people for Christ.
3) Passion for Young People - reinforce training for families, youth leaders, churches, & schools to ignite a passion for young people.
4) Community Building - encourage pastors, teachers, & members to identify and embrace biblical community and diversity.
5) Spiritual Leadership Training - provide quality, spiritual leadership training for pastors, teachers, lay leaders, & youth.
