Phase 1 of the five-year Momentum Soul Winning Initiative begins January 1, 2007, in Washington Conference.

A word from President John Freedman: I am personally asking you to give your “heart” to the Lord for this venture. Why? It is easy to give lip service to soul winning all year long and then notice at year end that very few souls, if any, were won to the Lord. We all know the right words to say. We all know how to “tithe our commitment.” Anyone can shoot holes in a plan. Where you've heard about Momentum: Northwest GLEANER, NWALC Convention in Portland, NPUC Pastor's Newsletter, NPUC Website, NPUC Spotlight on Missions DVD, Washington Conference bulletin inserts and website, pastor's meetings, and various communiques. These avenues of communication have put out volumes of information about what, when, where and how Momentum is to occur.

Next step: We need to know now is who will be participating in the live presentation phases of this initiative with Evangelist Ron Halvorsen, Sr., and who will be downlinking the Satellite edition on the Hope Channel. The live local meetings will take place at the Auburn City Adventist Church on April 14-21. The same presentations will be available for downlinking from the Hope Channel on April 21-28, 2007. The Momentum cycle involves 90 days of preparation so that the fields are ripe for harvesting in April.
